Our 3 person spa pool range also offers a full complement of shapes and sizes, allowing you to maximise your use of space in your chosen spot. The triangular Tristar is ideal for filling unused corners, the square SX can form the centrepiece of your backyard, while the remaining rectangular models are ideal for hugging walls and leaving room for other activities.
3 person spa dimensions
While 3 person spas sit firmly at the compact end of the spa pool spectrum, in reality the word ‘compact’ describes a wide range of sizes.
The Freeflow Tristar, for example, measures just 178cm on its longest side, and holds 700L of water. The Highlife Jetsetter LX, however, measures 213cm at its longest, and holds 950L, creating an incredible roomy soaking experience.
The larger the size and volume, the more spacious your 3 person spa pool will feel. But even if you choose the most compact Hot Spring model, you’ll still enjoy market-leading levels of personal space. The reason? Our exclusive manufacturing techniques allow us to build deeper, wider and more comfortable seats and footwells than any other brand.
How much do 3 person spas cost?
Don’t let size fool you – our spa pools offer almost all the features that you’ll find in larger spas but at a fraction of the cost.
In choosing a Hot Spring compact spa you not only secure a feature-packed unit at a lower price but you also enjoy lower ongoing costs such as electricity and maintenance. The full foam insulation we use across all Hot Spring spas means that most of our spa pools can run on a standard 10 amp/340V power outlet. Maintenance is quick and easy, and you’ll use less product in caring for your water.
The cost of your 3 person Hot Spring spa will depend on a variety of factors including size, model, functionality, features and optional extras.
Best spa pool placement
As compact, portable, self-contained machines, Hot Spring spa pools can be placed in a wide array of locations. Compact 3 person outdoor spas can be placed where larger models can't, like in the corner of a small deck or on a balcony. They can be positioned on decks, pavers, concrete – pretty much any strong, even surface. Indoor spas can be placed in a sun room or an enclosed verandah. A little bit of excavation can turn your Hot Spring into an inground spa pool.
Our machines have been installed in every configuration you can think of (and a few you can't!) Provided the surface is level, there's access to water and power, and the spa can be drained, the choice of location is entirely yours.

We purchased a Freeflow Spa around 8 years ago from the Albany Showroom after meeting Verla. She was so very knowledgeable and gave us so much confidence in the quality of the product. It turned out to be a great decision. That spa saw us survive multiple COVID lockdowns and was so easy to maintain. It cost us very little in power. When we moved house we left the Excusion there and inherited one. It was a cheap spa, noisy, smelly and expensive to run. We missed our Hot Spring. As our kids are now older we decided to treat ourself to a smaller spa from the Highlife Range and went with the Jetsetter LX. We have no regrets. The motor massage is spectacular, we love the Salt System and don’t need shower after a spa anymore. The IQ system is very clever and user friendly. We’re stoked with the upgrade and couldn’t be happier with Hot Spring. In our opinion it’s been worth the investment.
