How does the swim machine produce a water current in a Fastlane Pools® Fitness System?

Swimming in place might be a new concept for some but few can argue against its advantages. The benefit of our swim spa is the Fastlane Pools® Swim Machine.  The innovative technology of the swim machine produces a current that allows you to swim in place and stay afloat. It doesn't take long to get accustomed to swimming in place and many have likened it to swimming in open water.

Watch the video below to understand how the Fastlane Pools Swim Machine works:

Like the underwater treadmill, the swim machine pumps biodegradable vegetable oil to the 5 HP underwater motor for energy-efficient power. The swim machine flow speed ranges from 5:00 (gentle breaststroke) to 1:08 minutes per 90 metres making it suitable for beginner to competitive swimmers. With a water-resistant remote control or a WiFi-enabled Fastlane Pools Fit@Home™ App, you can conveniently adjust the speed settings without getting out of the pool. You can also use the Fit@Home App to program your workouts!

If you're looking to improve your stroke, the Fastlane Pools Swim Machine is an ideal solution. It gives anyone training for a swimming event or competition an added advantage. It's also useful to those who want to mix up their exercise routine. We highly recommend starting at a mild speed and slowly increasing the pace to get used to the swim machine current.

You can also take a test swim with your nearest dealer to try out the experience!
